My parents came down to visit this weekend, they were here for baby Madelynn Joy's birth (more picts and a post to follow), however, my Dad asked me to take a picture for an award he's getting soon. He's being recognized by OSU at an event they hold yearly to award people that have graduated from there and have done great things. The event hasn't been held yet, but when I searched for him and the event, another recognition showed up on google. Yup- my Dad is famous and cool. Even though I don't know what pomology is, (clarification: "DIDN'T"- you can google anything now days), he got awarded in 2007 the Wilder Silver Medal award by the APS.
